Penguin Blends

So, I'm trying my first google docs post....not quite sure how it will work out. We are beginning blends in a 
couple of weeks in our reading program so I made a cute penguin blend sort to go along with our theme unit.I plan on taking it to Staples and getting it printed since it is so much color then laminating it. Maybe I will make a recording sheet....maybe not. We'll see!

    Thank you for sharing! The download is super cute.I really appreciate you sharing your terrific work Julie.

    I couldn't get the link to open so I clicked on the bottom on the far right icon( it says "open with new window")and it opened. Hope this helps those that couldn't get the download to work.

    I think I've got it sent to everyone who wanted it....I think if you will click on the top upper right hand button that says "open in new window" it will download properly.

    I can open this but when I go to print it it the words are fuzzy and grayish black-unreadable. Is it because I have an imac?

    I'm not sure what causes the gray marks...I've had that happen to me when i try to open other people's documents....and I have a mac too so that could be it, but I can view it perfectly on my mac. I can e-mail it to you if you think it will help. Let me know.

    To The Mom I Want to Be: I'm kinda asking myself the same question about how I did it.....I don't really know....I copied and pasted something from google docs....All of the clipart images are DJ Inkers!!

    For the mac users, I think if I remember correctly if you have a mac you have to save it as the PDF and it will keep the text formatting. I read this on another blog. I downloaded as a pdf and it worked. Best of luck!

    Yes, Julie - it downloaded just fine for me!

    For those of you getting gray lines on a Mac - you need to open it in Adobe Reader and not PREVIEW. Sometimes also if you don't have the newest version of adobe reader, you'll have that problem!

    When you said you take it to Staples...does that mean they will print it for you? How do you do that? Having them print things would save me a lot on ink:)

    Megan, You can save it to a flash drive and take it to Staples and have them print it for you....but it will cost you. I got 16 pages printed on regular paper color ink and it was 8.00. Their ink is the shiny glossy pretty kind too! It's worth it I guess for things you want to keep a long time.

    Thank you so much! I simply opened your document in a new window (the button at the top right of your google document window above).

    Then I hit FILE and "print (PDF)." I was able to print this cute activity out. I chose to do multiple pages per sheet and the penguins and fish were still a good size for my daughter to work with.
