About Me

My name is Julie Lee and I have been teaching at Big Spring Lake Kindergarten School for the past 5 years.  I have loved every minute of it!  Big Spring Lake is such a wonderful atmosphere to work in.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education  from Jacksonville State University and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama.  Teaching kindergarten in truly my passion and I am happy to share it with my students each year.


I am married to a wonderful man, Richey, and we have 2 beautiful daughters.  They are the joys of my life.  I love spending time with my family and playing with my children.

    1. As an educator myself and indigenous person. I would like to make you aware that your promotion of counting “one little 2 little Indians is highly stereotypical, discriminating, and racist depiction of Frist Nations people. It is like teaching blackface. Could you please remove this from your blog? I major in cross cultural education and if you would like I can give you suggestions on how to do your pilgrim unit without using these stereotypes of First Nations. Also to let you know that song one little two little Indians is also very evaporate. Thank you Amanda

  6. Do you have examples of your Morning Basket materials anywhere on your site? I struggle with morning work ideas. I have children arrive between 7:30-8:15. So some children have lots of time and some have very little. Thanks!

  8. Your activities look great. How do you manage all these different activities? How many students do you have and do you have help. In my class we have 33 students and very little help. would like to do some of your activities but am wondering how.
