Apples, Apples, Apples

This week we learned about the letter A and Apples.  We had so many fun things planned to do this week that we had a hard time fitting it all in.  Thanks, parents for sending apples.  Our apple investigation was the most fun!  We read The Seasons of Arnold's Apple Tree and learned what the apple tree looks like during each season.  We created murals to show the trees in each season.  We made apple pockets that held the life cycle of the apple tree.  Ask your child to put the pictures in the correct order.  We also learned about "Johnny Appleseed" whose real name is John Chapman.  We learned that he traveled all along the Ohio and traded his apple seeds and seedlings for things.  We made a Johnny Appleseed Glyph to go along with our learning.  Hope you enjoy the pictures of all our fun for the week!
