Space centers & a Pumpkin FREEBIE?

Okay, these are WAY overdue, but I wanted to post what was happenin' during our space week...this was before I got sick and never got around to posting it.  

We love our sound tubs from Lakeshore and use them all the time...do you have these?

They are the best for center games.

I used my DJ version since it was made, but a new version is in my unit

Both of these are highly requested so legal versions (non DJ Inkers) are included in my space unit.

Alright, so I had a request for the "Simple Symmetry" game posted back during my pumpkin week in the fall...it is ready now in my tpt store for FREE...Go grab it and get it ready for next year!

Dino Preview & a Freebie!

I'm finally feeling better...thank the LORD and I have just finished my first unit since I was sick...my Dino-Riffic Unit!  Here's a preview...these centers are all prepped and ready to go for my kiddos next week...more pics to come after we work on them all week!  

We finished up our zoo unit this week!  I love this unit so much.  These Zoo Faces were SO easy peasy and turned out sooooo cute!  I totally forgot to get the giraffe.

Finally, I've uploaded a FREE super simple Long Vowel Picture Sort in my store.  All you have to do is download it for FREE and you've got a great morning work activity, sub activity, or an easy prep center activity.

On the Way Back Up...

I am finally starting to feel somewhat normal again!  Praise the good Lord!  :)  The cravings are beginning which I'm totally fine with since I feel like I haven't eaten well in 6 weeks! 

I still haven't forgotten about my post on answering your questions...it's in the works.  For real, like, I haven't done a thing on my computer in about 6 weeks so hopefully this weekend I can get back on track and get some units on and some FREEBIES!!!  I'm still without a camera so I don't have pictures of what's been going on in our classroom, but I have a slide that Jamie Mayas made of the Farm Faces we have been working on this week.  So cute!  :)  You can find all of the patterns, directions, and facts here!

Long Time, No Blog Post!

Hello Friends!  Y'all are the sweetest group of blog followers ever!  I've had so many e-mails from y'all checkin' on me...so here's the news; I'm expecting baby #3!!!!  And, boy, have I been sick!  So sick!  Yuck!  I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to post at all OR work on my newest units for tpt!  I promise when I'm feelin' better I will get all of the units you guys are asking for on there.  It may take me a while so I really hope you will check back at some point!  I've got some fun ideas and units that I'm dying to get my hands workin' on, but missy or mister just won't allow it at this time!  Hopefully soon though!  I would love to hear from you below!  Oh, and too, my camera died...yes...DIED!  Yikes.  What's a girl to do?

Intervention Pack ideas...

Hi friends!  I've had lots of e-mails asking for a March intervention pack...I'm kinda stuck.  My kids that I do intervention with are still pretty much using my January and February packs only because that's what they need...SOOOOO...I'm asking for suggestions on skills your kids need help with.  If you have an idea or suggestions please comment below!

God Bless America

This week we learned all about America, our national symbols, and a few presidents and it was so much fun!  Of course, we had some fun centers, and we did some cool activities during theme time.  I totally forgot to snap a picture of our cute "George Washingtons" and "Abes" from Cara over at First Grade Parade...and our lovely "Statue of Libertys" from Deanna.  I will get those pictures and get them posted soon.  Here are pictures of some of our centers that can be found in my God Bless America unit plus more!

Last of Community Helpers...

I am finally around to posting our community helpers math centers.  We did a fun survey and asked our friends what they wanted to be when they grow up.  They loved this activity...I think they liked carrying around the class list and crossing the names out after asking the question, which by the way, helped a lot.  I've done surveys before but never gave them a list to carry with them...duh.  Oh, and Tally the toppings was another fave...so fun.  They got in the floor and counted their little hearts out.

These little guys were super easy, super fast, and fun to make.  This activity can be found in my store...it is a collaborative project between Jamie Mayas and I.  Aren't they cute!

My unit time is crunched this year so a 15-20 minute activity is perfect!  :)

I will try to post some freebies at some point...Sorry I've been slacking here lately on the freebies.
