ending sounds
we loved the sight word reflection game last week, that we did it again...with a different theme
Okay, so they have to get a trash ball un-wad it (is that a word?) and read the word to see if it's "trash" or "treasure"...how much fun is that?
We are chefs flippin' cookies to read sight words...
I thought this would be too easy for my kiddos, but it was challenging for a few of them...they had to really pay attention to the way letters are formed and where they sit on the line...great practice!
Okay, so ready, set, comment! Maybe you will follow my blog while you are here!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Hope I'm the winner...the unit looks awesome!

Your centres are always great, I have found many ways to use them here in the UK and the kids just adore being in charge of their own learning.

I saw your trash and treasure sight word game on Pinterest and loved the rest of the blog's ideas! We did very similar centers when we did Community Helpers in my classroom.
ReplyDeleteFor What's Up, Doc? maybe provide them with the letters printed with lines so there is more of a visual for the students. Use a font like Penmanship Print that provides the lines as the letters are typed.
Great ideas! Thanks for sharing on your blog.
Such CUTE and GREAT on-level and enrichment learning centers!!! Hope I win so I can share with my class!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun center ideas......and easy to set up! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little confused as to why it isn't for free to help other teachers or at least sell it for a small fee for the entire packet. Seems a bit unhelpful as you do not want us to re-create it on our own either.
