Frosty Fun!

What a week!  It was our first week back from Christmas Holidays, and it was super busy trying to get the kiddos back into our routine and get them prepared for winter DIBELS.  Yikes!  I do love this time of year though when the "Christmas Magic" happens and the students are so ready to learn.  This is the best teaching time for me!  Below are some pics of a few centers and activities we did this week.

Don't you love when your students get comfy and just are into the center...even if they are taking up HALF the room!  We put the entire alphabet in order...they did SO good!

Unscrambled sight words...this is in my Frosty Fun Winter Unit

We practiced ending sounds for this center...

identified middle sounds

 counted pennies...

You can find these center activities plus lots more in my Frosty Fun snowman unit and Deanna's and my winter pack

We always make these cute snowmen heads that wear a pattern on their scarf!
I LOVE how they turned out!

We discussed things we do in the winter and wrote about it...

So cute!

Check out these snowmen from The Glyph Girls

Adorable!

Finally, found this rainbow in my side yard this afternoon.
It was much brighter, then I ran in to get my camera and it had faded some...
Reminded me of God's promise to us and that he NEVER fails and is always faithful!
