Freebie! & Animals in Winter Literacy Stations

Happy Friday Friends!  What a week!  We had our DIBELS testing this week and our hard work really paid off!  I'm so proud of my little kinder-kiddos...they did oh so good!  In the meantime, we did finished our Animals in Winter Unit.  I love hearing my kids say words like "dormant".  Isn't it fun?!  I'm always curious if they use those words at home and their parents look at them like, "What?"  I know when my little girl was 3 years old and said pointing at the moon, "Look it's a crescent!"...I was floored!  Whoa!  They just pick up on everything.  So, I'll quit rambling...take a peek at what we did to practice our literacy skills...go all the way to the bottom for the link to the SWEATER and JEAN MATH FREEBIE.

reading words and distinguishing the difference in real and not real

Ending Sounds

Segmenting Words and Writing Them

Practicing Handwriting using lines....such a tough skill for 5's...

Counting and Writing Teen Numbers

Letter Discrimination...

I revised the Animals in Winter unit if you bought it previous to now...I changed some wording, added dots to the p,b,d,q, sort, added a set of pictures that was missing....anywho...go re-download if you need to.

Finally, click here to grab the Sweater Math Freebie (above) that I promised last week....I just found my originals to scan today!  I thought I lost them!  Whew!  Think about following my store while you are there!  Thanks!
Let me know if you grab it!  :)

  12. I love looking at your great center activities. You are making me clean out all of my files and update them! I have been curious as to how you file all of your activities. Do you file them by unit/theme or by skill?
