We celebrated Grandparent's Day Thursday. We had a great turn out for this special day. I think the kids and grandparents enjoyed visiting with each other. Thanks to all who were able to come!

Hello
ReplyDeleteI see that your school / classroom celebrates Grandparents day! Our school celebrates GrandFriend's day Prek-5 the Friday before Mother's day in May. I was wondering what type of activities / themes you use to engage families? We are always looking to add new things!!
Our students (&I ) LOVE IT! It can be busy and crazy with the surge of loved ones but its a GREAT day!!
Thanks!

Grandparents are important to children in so many ways. They have patience and time when parents are often busy. They have stories to tell and interesting games to play. They are also good for treats and spoiling, which we all need from time to time!
